Vanzara was speaking at the donation of 18 bags of 50 kgs of maize, three 50 kg bags of rice, one bag of salt, half carton cooking oil and lavatories to Michiru CCAP’s soul care group.

“Ministering is not just about standing on the podium and preaching the word of God, but also doing charity work in accordance with the scriptures.

“The Hindu charity work was started by a group known as Jalalamu that has been assisting the needy,” said Vanzara.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the group, Reverend Paul Mawaya thanked the Hindus for donation, which he said will help the church in caring for the sick, less privileged, widows and orphans.

“We have two different groups of widows and the elderly who receive a bag of maize each monthly and orphans we feed every day. This donation will reduce the burden of the church and beneficiaries,” said Mawaya.
