A Lilongwe-based businessperson claims to have discovered herbal concoctions that are curing Aids.

Jazelem Chimkomba, a transporter, claims that over 60 people have been cured of Aids after receiving the medication called the “most definite cure for HIV/Aids”.

But government through Ministry of Health has reiterated that Aids cure has not been discovered yet.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Weekend Nation, Chimkomba, challenged that the concoction, a blend of herbal ingredients, eliminates HIV and all opportunistic infections which lead to full-blown Aids within 90 days.

Chimkomba said the drug was discovered in June last year when he, together with two Malawian colleagues and Kenyan experts, researched on Aids cure.

“The dosage includes one glass of the main drug and several dosages of supporting medicine. You take just glass full at the beginning followed by the supporting medicine taken with your breakfast,” he said.

Chimkomba claims that he, his colleagues and their spouses have been cured by the drug.

“We are willing to show you evidence,” said Chimkomba who showed this reporter his health passport which indicated that he was found HIV negative in November last year.

He challenged those living with the virus, including those with full-blown Aids, to take the drug.

“We are not doing this for money, but for the love of the country.

“Until now, we have been keeping a low profile in the country because we were testing the drug which has already cured tens of patients both here and abroad,” he said.

One of Chimkomba’s patients, Mickson Lombola, a tobacco farmer living at M’bang’ombe in Lilongwe, said he and his spouse, Elina, have also been cured.

“The drug is just too powerful for the virus,” he said.

Chimkomba claimed that his team is still making efforts to meet Ministry of Health officials to discuss the possibility of testing the drug medically.

But Ministry of Health spokesperson, Henry Chimbali, asserted that until now no cure for the HIV and Aids has been discovered.

“Until now, no known and certified remedy for HIV/Aids has been found,” he said.
