Liwu releases new single

Christian hip hop artist Liwu has today released a new single titled Broken Jenes.

Producer AKA delves into entrepreneurship

The single, which was produced by YesaYa, has first been released on all digital platforms.

“Broken Jenes is the first single from my upcoming Extended Playlist EP whose title and date of official launch will be announced later,” he said.

Liwu said the song is a sequel from his previous song Pray a lot, which he released in 2011.

He said: “The song depicts my jeans which are now worn out to the fact that I pray a lot. With Broken Jenes, you will be introduced to a new exciting sound different from what you would expect from my songs.”

Commenting on the development, Liwu’s manager Tomothy Mizaya said as the artist is now growing his art, he is exploring more with different sounds that reflect the growth of his artistry.

“This song features vocals from Grace Matonga and was produced and mastered by renowened producer and artist YesaYa,” said Mizaya.

Liwu is a Christian a local hip hop artist with four projects under his name.

He recently took a break from music to concentrate on his masters degree studies.

Some of his popular songs are Liwuminati and Pray a lot.
