Local chicken in groundnut sauce (Nkhuku yachikuda yotendela)

You will need: one local chicken, washed and cut up into pieces, groundnut flour (nsinjiro), tomatoes, onions, garlic and salt.

Method: Peel and crush your garlic and rub into the chicken. Brown the chicken in hot oil, add water and simmer until the meat is soft and tender. Skin and chop up your onions and tomatoes. Add this, together with the groundnut powder, to your chicken and simmer on low heat until your sauce is ready to serve. Serve with nsima.
