Light of Life International Church (Lolic) on Saturday donated various food items and anointed water commonly known as Water of Life to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH).

The donation, worth about K450 000, surprised the donors themselves, saying they could not believe that the hospital could allow the patients to receive the ‘water of life’.

“We were warmly welcomed. We told them that we had brought with us ‘water of life’ and they accepted us to give the bottles to patients in the wards.

“We visited Oncology, 3A as well as Under 5 wards where we preached the word of hope to the sick and presented packed gifts to the sick,” said evangelist Rabecca Baluwa.

Baluwa, who said it was her first time to visit and present gifts to the sick at the hospital, was surprised by the warm reception that the hospital staff accorded to Lolic.

She said their K450 000 budget did not include packaging of water in bottles.

“The trip was made possible with the blessings of Prophet F.T. Samuel,” she said. n
