Losing baby

Dear Editor,

I read with interest the article about losing a baby in Every Woman and it touched my heart so dearly because I remembered my own experience with giving birth. I also lost my child at childbirth after preparing so much for the child. It was like the story was talking about me and my experiences.

Indeed, that does not happen so much, but I want to share with other women that it does happen and I only wish we could get the counselling support that is needed. I almost lost my mind, but I am thankful to God that I now have another child.—Alice, Lilongwe

I have interest in Every Woman and I want to just encourage you to keep the good material coming. We have seen some really pertinent issues that affect us as women being discussed here and we hope to see more.
