Love your wife as your body – 2

A husband’s love is not love until it is demonstrated in action.  People have repeatedly told their spouses they love them without putting any effort into it. This is meaningless and ought to be revisited.

A woman does not feel complete until she has good cosmetics. Buy her a good perfume, etc. Try to spend some money on your wife and experience the results.

Husbands, learn to take care of your wife. When she is going out of the home, ensure she has good transportation; be mindful of her comfort everywhere you are with her. Be there, taking care of her when she falls sick. Nurse her just as you expect her to nurse you. If she is late in a meeting, be there waiting for her so that you can drive home together, if she does not have her own means of transport.

The husband is expected to protect the wife from all harsh conditions encountered. You are created by God stronger than her and that strength should be used to protect her and not to harass her.

There are relatives from the male side who cause problems to an in-law. Such type’s of people should be disciplined by the husband and told not to tamper with one’s wife. If they are being housed in one’s home, they should be warned that should their behavior not change they will have to be relocated.

The husband has a duty to protect the wife even from parents who cause problems. Remember the leadership God gave to man over his wife has to be exercised not only by having authority over his wife, but also by providing for and protecting her.

The relationship between a husband and a wife is a very close and intimate one than any relationship that either of them can have with anyone else, and has to be respected by all.

Enjoy your wife.
