After a series of fundraising activities, members of Luchenza Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church is still short of 40 iron sheets needed to renovate its prayer house.
Resident Pastor Jossen Ndalama said this week that they managed to buy 93 out of 133 iron sheets; hence, the need to continue with fund raising.
“Let me take this advantage to appeal to well-wishers for assistance in cash and kind,” said Ndalama.
He said the congregation decided to replace the sheets due to rusting of the old ones that have also developed holes.
