Jamaican reggae singer Luciano, popularly known as Jah Messenger, is expected to leave Jamaica Wednesday ahead of his African tour.
Born Jepther McClymont, the artist was initially supposed to tour the continent in October, but cancelled due to fear of contracting Ebola.
His Malawian promoter, South Africa-based reggae artist Born Afrikan, said the show at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday is on as Luciano has confirmed his itinerary.
“Luciano leaves Jamaica on Wednesday for his first leg of Africa tour. Malawi is his first stop where he arrives Friday after a night in South Africa. He will go back to South Africa where he will hold shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town also under Born Afrikan Productions, “ said Born Afrikan.
Local artists, including Lucius Banda, Skeffa Chimoto, Lambanie Dube and Soul Raiders will form part of the line up with Luciano and Born Afrikan being the main stars of the day.

Some of them are Moving Up, Messenger, Sweep Over My Soul, A New Day, Great Controversy and Jah is My Navigator.
