Lulu plans a nationwide tour

As he is expected to release his long-awaited fourth album in April, Malawi’s Afro-R & B singer and dancer Lulu will be on a nationwide tour promoting Ndakudziwa.

The 10-track album is scheduled to hit the market in May this year.

The artist, with his Mathumela Band, will tour Blantyre, Lilongwe, Zomba, Balaka, Mzuzu, Karonga and other places to be announced, according to his managers.

“The confirmed shows are starting on February 14 at Mungo Park for a Valentine’s Day gig. The following day, he will be at Mzanzi. He will wrap up his Lilongwe shows on February 23 at Chameleon. The team is prepared to showcase their last three albums to the nation, rekindling the fans love for their music. This will be on top of new songs like Ndakudziwa, Ndzalera and Mponyere,” said Dawa Loga-Lemberger of Elegant Resources.

“We have organised over 10 shows for a start in February.

Another set of 10 shows is planned for March leading to the launch scheduled for April 5. Lulu’s latest album has a great presence in the line of storytelling,” she said.
