The Afro-pop song was produced by Lulu at Mathumela Studios in Lilongwe.

Lulu describes Mada as a super talented musician from whom the gospel music sector should expect surprises.

Mada has released high-definition (HD) music videos for his hit singles Yafika and Uza Yesu which have gone viral on YouTube and are enjoying massive airplay on Times TV and MBC TV.

Mada, who is set to launch his debut album Kufuna Kokha later this year, says he took his time to produce the videos.

In Uza Yesu, which features Mike, Mada urges the downtrodden to seek God’s help for their troubles.

Mada, a Chancellor College graduate, intends to release more videos from the album.

“I would like to urge my fans to be patient. I know it has been a long time coming, but the truth of the matter is that I’m taking my time so as to come up with a quality project. Before long I will announce the date for the official launch of the album,” said the soft-spoken musician.

Mada begun singing as a professional artist in 2010 and since then he has never looked back.

The music videos, which were released early this month, were produced by the renowned KRC Productions of Lilongwe.

Mada, who sings with a captivating voice, would like to work with a whole lot of artists in the country and beyond to extend his reach.

He said: “My music is not only directed towards Christians, but also to non-believers. Despite of our diverse beliefs, I strongly accept as true the fact that we all need inspiration and hope.”

The Blantyre-based songster is sure that his debut album will uplift many souls.

According to Mada, his album will drastically change the way people perceive gospel music in the country.

“My ambition is to reach for the stars and take gospel music to the furthest ends of the world,” Mada said.
