Tennis whizkid Chisomo Lumeta’s pure quality once again shone like a beacon in Togo where he won two silver medals during the International Federation Junior Circuit.

The Nedbank brand ambassador won two silver medals in the Under-16 category for both singles and doubles.

In singles, the final game was with Nigerian Imeh Joseph and the game ended 6-4, 7-5 to settle for silver medal while in doubles, Lumeta partnered with Karim Quttarra of Cote d’voire, but again lost to Joseph and his partner in the finals.

Lumeta is expected to compete in another ITF circuit this week in Benin.

Nedbank marketing and business development manager Tidzi Chalamba said the bank is excited at its brand ambassador’s exploits.

“Nedbank believes in enabling achievement in order to make things happen and Lumeta’s sponsorship is a true testament to that. We are proud to be associated with Chisomo’s recent achievements, and we will continue to be with him every step of the way, on his journey towards reaching greater heights,” said Chalamba.

Recently, the blooming Malawian tennis star landed a K3 million sponsorship from Nedbank.
