Performing all time great pieces like George Michaels’ Silent Whisper and James Browns I feel good is never easy especially for novice vocalists. These two musicians raised the bar that most performers choose to play it safe by singing the original version of the songs.
Despite their difficult musical arrangement, vocalist Rebecca Mwalwanda moves out of her comfort zone to give a scintillating rendition which augurs well with her powerful vocals.
When it comes to songs from their own album, no one does it better than them. Mwalwanda leads the group in giving the best of its kind.
Her stage delivery was outstanding though her voice was stronger than her performance. She could have added a little oomph to her stage presence. But, credit has to be given where it is due—she is just a student and she certainly will be a force to reckon with.
Coordination between the band members was superb. The band did not just have the instruments but they were put to good use too.
