“Mada Ngoleka will be recording a song together with Ndirande Anglican Voices. The yet-to-be-titled track will be on Mada’s debut upcoming album due this year,” disclosed Nde’feyo Gospel in a press statement.

A new name in the gospel music circles, 18-year-old Ngoleka is currently working on her debut album due this year. Her exceptional style, the fusion of R&B and Soul music, complemented by her classic guitar, has set her apart from other Malawian gospel musicians.

Ndirande Anglican Voices music director and lead vocalist/composer Denis Kalimbe says although Mada is not a major name in the gospel industry, her music is mature.

“She has a mature voice, in fact she is big as compared to some gospel artists out there,” Kalimbe is quoted as saying. “We have been into gospel music ministry for 15 years and we are a group that will work with anyone who shares our ministry.”

Kalimbe adds: “We are also coming from a very humble beginning for us to reach this far. Lifting each other is what children of God must always strive to do.”

Ngoleka expresses her excitement on working with Ndirande Anglican Voices. “I’m really looking forward to it because they are one of my favourite musicians in the country, so full of creativity and energy. It’s always nice to work with someone you admire.”

Off her new album, Nde’feyo Gospel has already released two promo singles titled Yesu Yekhayo and Falling. The album is expected to feature both local and international artists, according to Nde’feyo Gospel.
