Speaking on Tuesday at Ntchisi District Hospital during the handover, MaiKhanda district team leader Zione Gwedeza said they were compelled to make the donation after noting problems at the district referral facility.

“The donation aims to improve health care services especially in the lives of mothers and children. Therefore, we will continue to support the district on health issues,” said Gwedeza.

Ntchisi district health officer Dr. Grace Momba commended MaiKhanda Trust for the donation.

“I would like to commend MaiKhanda Trust for blessing us in this way and would like to assure them that the medical equipment will be taken care of,” said Momba.

During the ceremony, Maikhanda also donated one borehole worth K3.3 million to the district hospital.
