Malawians’ joy and craziness of watching and debating reality television show Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase ended in tears last night with the eviction of Malawi’s remaining representative, Natasha.

The announcement of her eviction alongside Selly of Ghana was greeted with a deafening silence at Crossroads Hotel in the capital, Lilongwe where MultiChoice Malawi had gathered fans to watch a ‘survive or burst’ show for Malawi.

“I understand that Big Brother is not about what you are or your education,” she told show host IK after her eviction.

During the eviction show, Natasha who was called second was the first to exit the BBA Diamond house and one could tell she was highly disappointed. Only Sierra Leonean Bassey escorted Natasha to the exit.

She said people talked about her accent and underestimated her and that really got on her nerves.

“I said I will show them on Saturday what I am about,” said Natasha.

She joked all the way about her supposed love Sulu in the house dubbing him as demanding when drunk. Natasha holds the record for surviving four nominations.

Natasha is expected home on Thursday, according to Macronnex Kaulembe, MultiChoice Malawi sales and marketing manager (Central and North) who said her eviction welcome home party is likely on Friday at Mzansi.

Natasha was swapped to the Diamond house for the first time together with Selly. Her eviction closes the chapter for Malawi in BBA The Chase.
