Heavyweight Mussa Ajibu will take on Tanzanian Alphonce Mchumiatumba while Wilson Shasha Masamba will square up against Jonas Segutz.

Alick Gogoda will fight Tanzanian Ashiraf Selemani in the super heavyweight category while Malawi’s female boxer Enelles Khwanthi will faces Lulu Kayage in a non-title welterweight division.

Mbalaka Babtista is coach for the Malawi boxers while Craig Rousseau is the team manager.

Rousseau said the fights will expose the boxers in developing their careers.

“For Moliati, this is a stepping stone.  If he wins, it means he is in line for some major fight.  He should work hard,” said Rousseau.

Moliati said he was looking forward to the bout.

“This is an opportunity for me.  It is rare that one gets a shot at a title fight.  I will work hard to impress,” he said.
