Malawi face Zimbabwe in college games

Malawi colleges football team will face Zimbabwe today in the first activity of International Inter-College Games to take place at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Over 500 athletes from select universities and colleges from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi will participate in the three-day tournament.

According to organisers of the games, Tertiary Students Sports Association of Malawi (Tessam), the opening ceremony is expected to start at 10am.

Later today, Zimbabwe will play Zambia from 2.30pm.

In netball, Zambia will face Zimbabwe fom 2pm, and later, Malawi line up against Zambia from 3pm

In basketball (ladies), Malawi  will face Zambia from 2pm and in men’s basketball, Malawi will play Zambia.

Later in the dau from 4pm, Zambia will line up against Zimbabwe in men’s basketball

Tessam general secretary Mischeck Munthali said indoor games such as basketball, netball, lawn will be played at the African Bible College Area 47.
