Minister of Tourism and Culture Daniel Liwimbi told Parliament that government is planning to construct cultural villages for all major ethnic groups in the country.

He was responding to Lilongwe Msozi North parliamentarian  Godfrey Kamanya who wanted to know what government was doing to preserve and promote Chewa heritage.

“After the Yao cultural village in Mangochi, up next is a Chewa village in the Central Region. The one for Ngonis will come coming closely afterwards,” said Liwimbi on Thursday.—Fatsani Gunya, Correspondent
