Malawi High Court Judge Justice Joseph Manyungwa died today aged 46.
Judiciary spokesperson Mike Tembo told Nation Online that Manyungwa died in the early hours of today (Saturday) at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre after a short illness.
He said burial for the late judge could be held Sunday at his home village in Bvumbwe, Thyolo.
Tembo said Manyungwa joined the Judiciary on September 1, 2004.
He is survived by a wife and two children, according to Tembo.
The late Manyungwa came under the spotlight when the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) instituted investigations into allegations that he delivered a judgement on a matter presided over by another judge, Justice Maclean Kamwambe.
