Local national lightweight champion Chrispin Moliati will fight Trymore ‘Terminator’ Musira from Zimbabwe.

Other acts will include Limbani ‘Lion’ Masamba of Malawi and Herbert Nkabiti of Botswana.

Malawi female boxer Anisha ‘Massacre’ Bashir will fight Mary Musole from Zambia.

Another Malawian Tinkhani Kamanga will face Tinashe ‘No Pressure’ Mutodo from Zimbabwe.

In superweight category, Nicola ‘Fireman’ Mutohora from Zimbabwe will fight Bright Mdoka from Malawi.

The fights have been organized by Zimbabwe Delta Force Academy and No Pain No Gain promoting agency from Malawi.

No Pain No Gain chief executive officer Craig Rousseau said they want to give Malawian boxers international exposure.

“We are not sitting down and backing down just because the sponsors are not coming forward. We are sticking to what we have pledged to do—keep Malawi boxing on the map by continuing supporting our abundance of local talent through giving them international exposure,” said Rousseau.

One of the boxers, Moliati, said he is ready to fight on the international stage.

“This is an opportunity for me to shine. I will work hard in training so that I can repay the faith the promoters have in me. I want to be an African champion someday,” he said. n
