Netball was first on the menu. The Malawi side, inspired by Minister of Labour Eunice Makangala, scored just seconds into the game.

Other legislators who had a grand game were Nkhata Bay West MP Grace Chiumia, Hyacinta Chikaonda of Dedza West, whereas Patricia ‘Akweni’ Kaliati led the supporters with her dancing antics.

The hosts proved too good for their guests by thrashing them 13-5.

In football, the Malawi MPs won 3-2 with goals coming from Billy ‘Gabadinho’ Kaunda, Vasco Chimbalu and David Kaweche whereas Watson Banda scored for the visitors.
