Malawi needs vibrant food processing industry

Malawi’s processing industry remains grossly underdeveloped. As such, most of the country’s pineapples, mangoes, tangerines, oranges, bananas, paw paws, tomatoes and other fruits go bad due to lack of meaningful value adding and modern technologies in food preservation.
