Malawi’s fish sector stuck in traditional methods

Fishing offers employment and a source of livelihood to thousands of people living along the lakeshore areas of Malawi. The sector is, however, highly underdeveloped with the majority of fishers still using traditional ways of processing their fish, resulting in high post-harvest losses.
