National flag carrier airline Malawian Airlines has donated a return air ticket to Nation Publication Limited to enable senior news analyst Joy Ndovi to travel with the national football team to Namibia to cover the 2016 Cosafa Cup from June 10-29.
Malawian Airlines traffic and sales manager Rodwell Magwaya said the airline is dedicated to providing support to football development through partnership with Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and the media.
“Malawian Airlines is partner of FAM and collaborates with the national football team in organising and arranging their travel with special discounts. Malawian Airlines is pleased to donate the complementary ticket for the journalist during the Cosafa Cup. Once again Malawian Airlines is wishing the Flames every success during the tournament,” he said.
Malawian Airlines has regular flights from Lilongwe and Blantyre to Johannesburg, Dar-es-Salam, Lusaka and Harare.
Magwaya said its morning flights to Johannesburg give convenient connections to many airlines out of Johannesburg. n
