Boxer Limbani Masamba is expected to travel to Namibia to face Namibian Albinus Felisianus in an eight-round International Boxing Federation (IBF) African Junior Lightweight title bout.

Namibian Boxing Academy known as Nestor Sunshine has sponsored the bout.

Clyde Musonda, who is the bout coordinator, said on Wednesday that the fight will be held at J and P Onashitoke Ondangwa Sports Complex.

Musonda is the owner of Delta Force Boxing Academy in Zimbabwe where Masamba is camping in preparation for the September 26 international bout under Knockout Malaria Campaign Project.

“As Delta Force Boxing Academy, we have managed to bid for the Malawian boxer to participate in world titles and also expose the boxers to international tournaments. It will be a preparatory bout for Masamba while he is expected to fight for the international title on September 26 to Brazilian boxer Cid Edson Bispo Riberio,” he said.

According to Musonda, Mwamaso will face Namibian Lukas Ndafoluma in a six-round supporting bout.

Aubrey Masamba will line up against Joseph Hlongwe.
