Mawanga sings for the voiceless

Malawian Afro-vibe artist Peter Mawanga has told the world that his music is for the poor after being inspired by his background.

In a BBC World programme, Africa Beats 2, broadcast across the globe Friday, Mawanga said his background played a role in his singing for the poor.
