Dan Lu: I can’t wait to give out my best

YMF spokesperson Chancy Namadzunda said the show is designed to celebrate deceased artists while using the same event to discuss issues affecting the youth.

He said: “We basically want to create a platform where we will remember artists who passed on while helping those that are still here. In doing so, we will be fighting for the living through raising awareness on a number of issues affecting their future.”

A number of artists, including Wikise, Moses Makawa, KateleleChing’oma, Don Tarz, King Chambieco, Dan Lu and Nepman will perform at the event.

According to Namadzunda, there will also be poetry by Raphael Sitima, Joseph Madzedze, Mr India and Gift Mlimbika.

Artist Dan Lu confirmed his participation at the event.

“Yes, I will be performing at the event and I can’t wait to give out my best. I also want to interact with the youth and encourage each other on how best we can shape a bright future for us all,” he said.

YFM is a non-profit interest group comprising music producers, managers, promoters, DJs media professionals and the private sector to address social and economic challenges facing artists.
