In an interview, the Standard Eight school leaver Kampata—born in 1989 at Mapemba Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Kuntaja in Blantyre—said he had been sleeping in show rooms and seeking alms on the streets.

“Now that I am restored and had come to my senses, I want to acquire skills in fields such as bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, tailoring or even go back to school,” said Kampata.

He said he met his salvation as he was walking to Limbe—from Chirimba where he was living. He said he heard gospel songs and soon found himself at a crusade, hence his salvation.

“Knowing that 11 years in this mental disorder is not joke, we have to monitor him before giving him something to do. Love is not love until you give it away. You receive total restoration through offering. When you offer you blessing for yourself,” said Samuel.

The message of day came from Galatians 6: 1-10 titled: ‘The seed we planted’ as leaders of tomorrow saying Jesus loves the soul that returns to Him. n
