Dubbed Great Gospel Concert, the gig brings together big names like Macdonald Mlaka Maliro, Thoko Katimba, George Mkandawire and Great Angels Choir among others.

“It is a get together show which will jointly bring musicians, performing on the same level as we normally meet during album launches among others. Because of this, we normally perform a few songs for we have limited time and need to pave way for others,” said one of the organisers Mlaka Maliro.

“The other reason for the show is that as gospel artists we are confined to the same venues,” he said.

The show will be powered by Mibawa Café and proprietor John Nthakomwa has confirmed.

“Our support during the show will be providing equipment that all musicians will use. This will be the second show to be sponsored by us after Allan Ngumuya recently, when he performed at the Blantyre Cultural Centre.

He said the Cafe is planning on supporting and holding several shows in the coming months.
