Sendeza hitmakers continue to cast a shadow of uncertainty over their togetherness with no joint commemoration of May as the month of their quirky fusion of hip hop and ragga as they boast in their hit collabo.

Despite Nthumwi Piksy’s solo contract with Nde’feyo Entertainment label, he last performed with his songmate Nthumwi Nicodemo  during Sendeza month show at Pa Station in Blantyre last year.

Ever since,  Atumwi have been spotted performing at different venues on the same nights and partnering with separate artists.

But on Wednesday, Piksy (real name Evans Zangazanga) sent a vernacular shoutout to their followers on Facebook: “Ine Piksy, ndi mzanga Nicolas Mbonela [Nicodemo] tukufunirani a Malawi nooooooonse… Mwezi wopambana wa Sendeza …Mwezi wa May!! God be with you and thanx for your support!”

Does this clear the mist over the future of the promising duo? Maybe it’s time they came in the open to face lingering questions that mute their vibe.—James Chavula, Staff Writer
