Monarch Square hosts Malawi Queens

All is set for the Malawi Queens to be treated to a dinner this Saturday at Monarch Square— along the Magalasi Road—in Blantyre.

The Queens retained position five on the globe and first in Africa after thumping out their usual rivals South Africa’s Proteas in their last game.

Other teams that the Queens beat include Scotland, the hosts and Northern Ireland.

Monarch Square general manager Henry Mwale told The Nation on Thursday that the treat befits the Queens considering their stylish and outstanding performance at this year’s Commonwealth Games.

Mwale was upbeat about Monarch to continue valuing excellence that is associated with sports especially the Queens.
