More on family clinic

There are so many instances whereby issues have been addressed of various types. I have come to realise that when people are Christians, they concentrate on one area, neglecting other equally important issues. Mostly, the area focused on is the spiritual; the sharing of the word of God, praying and fasting. This leaves out other equally important issues of the body and soul, thus making the life of a Christian couple incomplete.

There is yet another concern of Family Clinic Ministries, which is that of raising children. Unfortunately, most people have taken it for granted. There are many children who are being raised in bars/clubs or bar like environments. Many children are being born to ladies who make a living out of bars. These children are being raised in these bars. They are constantly being exposed to alcohol, loud vulgar music, drunken men and women, and worse still the sex business life of their mothers. Family Clinic is concerned that such environments will dent the future of these children.

Of a greater concern are parents who bring the bar/club environment into their homes. It is becoming common these days to have bars in the house, and beer parties in homes. This practice exposes children to things akin to those that happen in pubs. This is worse, because their role models are the ones indulging in these unproductive behaviours.

This is in essence killing and destroying the future Christian and decent family, church, and the nation. The devil has settled himself at the helm of a person, which is his birth place and home, making sure one is ruined at the very onset of life. Can such a child be sent to school and be expected to have good manners? What kind of a citizen would such an environment produce?

Family Clinic is broad and covers a lot of aspects of life, and the family is where life begins and charted. So help us God.
