Mpulula happy with new players at Max Bullets

Max Bullets coach Leo Mpulula is a happy man now with the arrival of new experienced players who have started training with the team.

Some of the new faces who are training with the team at are Elia Munthali and Precious Msosa who were released by Be Forward Wanderers, Wongani Kuchisanja from Azam Tigers, Jide Mbandambanda, Isaac Mphamba, Owen Kalibwanji, Grief Mwenebanda from Blantyre United, goalkeeper John Chitseko from Nyasa Big Bullets, Damiano Kunje, Mike Mkwate, Edwin Kalosi and Bernard Chimaimba from Wizards.

With other experienced players like Samson Chonde, Wongani Zulu, Mayamiko Mphanje, coach Mpulula thinks Max will be a tough side to beat.

“So far am happy with the preparations, but we still need experienced players to help us. We are welcoming any player and after trials we will assess they if they will make a grade,” said Mpulula.

So far Mpulula has picked 35 out of 70 and wants to register 22.

Meanwhile, Mpulula, who was fired at Epac FC last year, has disclosed that he is yet to sign a contract with Max Bullets.

“I am not yet done with Epac FC, but everything will be done this week and I am sure come next week, I will have something to say about my future with Max,” said Mpulula. n
