Controversial coach Leo Mpulula has said he will only decide on Epac’s offer after going through the contract.
Mpulula, who had committed to staying put at Blantyre United, said this in reaction to Epac chairperson Tristone Chiutsi’s confirmation on Matindi Radio Station yesterday that they have settled for him as head coach and Abbas Makawa as deputy.

“I cannot commit myself before I see the contract. I have to go through it and then make a decision because there can be clauses that I am not comfortable with.
“They have sent the contract by coach this morning [yesterday] and I should have it by later today [yesterday],” said Mpulula.
He also expressed reservations on Epac’s decision to appoint his assistant.
“The agreement was that I would be given the freedom to choose my assistant and now I am hearing that they have already appointed one? That is not fair,” he said.
Efforts to get reaction from Epac on Mpulula’s feedback proved futile.
Mpulula is currently helping lower league side Max Bullets, but at the end of the season, he declared that he would stay at relegated Blantyre United and help them earn promotion back to the Super League.
