Tomorrow is the day when the marathon in the race of the K14 million Airtel Trace Music Finals comes to an end.
The hype was added with a spice in Blantyre yesterday when Airtel Malawi and Trace TV announced that former Big Brother representatives Mr 265 and Fatima Nkata will host the finale.

Airtel brands and communications manager Isabel Kachinjika told a press briefing yesterday that attendance to the show will strictly be by invitation as the finale will be recorded.
“The schedule is tight and time conscious. The finals will take place at Mount Soche Hotel and we expect those invited to be seated by 6:30pm,” she said.
Meanwhile, Airtel has disclosed that the number of public votes for the finalists has doubled, with over 4 000 entrants recorded so far.
However, Airtel and Trace could not confirm reports regarding the pulling out one of contestant, Sipe, saying they have not received any official communication from the former Big Brother representative.
Apart from Sipe, other contestants are Mafilika Band keyboardist Mjura Mkandawire, Lilongwe resident Tiyamike Chakhaza, Grey Longwe and Vitumbiko Phiri from Blantyre.
The winner of the K14 million national grand prize tomorrow will travel to Kenya to compete with other winners drawn from 13 African countries at an event which will be graced by American hip hop star Akon.
