Malawi’s representative to the Big Brother Hotshots show, Mr 265, yesterday received four nominations from fellow housemates which puts him up for eviction this coming Sunday.

Most of the housemates said they nominated the Times TV presenter, whose real name is Masugzo Msiska, because he is a bit oppressive in the house.

Sheillah from Botswana received the highest number of nominations with 10 of her fellow housemates nominating her, mostly because of her attitude and temper.

Apart from Sheillah, another hotshot with a higher number of nominations is Macky2 from Zambia who received nine nominations.

Luis from Namibia received four nominations with most of his nominators choosing him because he had earlier wanted to willingly leave the house.

Malawi’s other contender Sipe is free from nominations this week after her group won the task and were exempted from nominations.

On Sunday, two housemates, Tanzania’s Laveda and Kenya’s Alusa, were evicted from the show.

MultiChoice Malawi sales and marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda emphasised the need for Malawians to vote for the country’s hotshots, saying they need to be kept in the game.

Nyirenda said the game is becoming unpredictable with Alusa’s eviction on Sunday leaving Kenya without a representative.

He banked his hopes on Malawi’s neighbouring countries of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe, but emphasized the need for Malawians to vote tirelessly.
