Mr Malawi: He is talking a lot

Reigning Mr. Malawi champion Henry Master has asked sponsors to arrange a bodybuilding contest between him and Yasin ‘Ichocho’ Suwedi.

In an interview on Tuesday, Master said Ichocho is undermining him through his statements in the media and wants to shut him up.

“He is talking a lot, demeaning me as if I do not deserve the Mr. Malawi title. I am a champion because I deserve it.

“He is no match for me. I am appealing to potential sponsors to stage a contest right there in Blantyre so that I can shut him up. I am a professional and will demonstrate that.  I am ready anytime,” said Master.

He said in bodybuilding, one does not buy sympathy through such outbursts.

“A bodybuilding contest is not boxing where you can challenge your opponent. I have won this title more than four times and it is not by chance,” said Master.

Meanwhile, Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Association of Malawi (Wbam) has announced that the 2014 Mr. Malawi contest will take place in October.
