Some Malawi Savings Bank (MSB) customers on Friday walked away with several fabulous prizes after emerging winners in the second draw of the bank’s iCash Promotion.
The customers, among others, won latest Samsung Galaxy phones and umbrellas.
So far, 14 out of the 24 lucky customers have won different prizes since the start of the competition.

To enter the competition, MSB customers have to acquire, replace or renew their iCash cards or make a deposit using automated teller machines (ATMs) or make at least four withdraws in the period using the iCash card.
MSB marketing officer Edmund Mfutso said there are two more draws left and they expect many of their customers to continue transacting using the iCash card.
“There has been good response from our customers and I can reveal that since the competition started, the number of customers who are transacting using iCash cards has increased by 39 percent. We expect this to double by the end of the competition,” he said.
Mfutso said the third draw will have similar prizes, but the final one will see winners walking away with different high value and modern mobile phone gadgets such as Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and 42 inches plasma television sets.
“These prizes are designed to inspire our customers and make them live in a modern world. As you can see, these prizes are valuable, reflect the current trends in life and will make our customers’ life better,” he said.
MSB is also running a parallel promotion called Mponda Makwacha in which K4 million is up for grabs.
The promotion runs from May 11 to September 31 2015 and customers stand a chance of doubling their account balance if they save for two months during the competition period.
