“Most boxers in the country stay long periods of time without fighting and this has a negative effect of their careers. As Don King Promotions we are coming in to fill this vacuum.

“When we heard that Msoliza has challenged Kudakwache we came in with monetary assistance to enable the two boxers fight. Both are good boxers that it is only fair to give them an opportunity to square off,” said Antonio.

The director said the winner will get K180 000 whereas the loser will pocket K160 000 .Kudakwache has since welcomed the challenge from Mtsoliza saying he is

looking forward to knocking out the Mzuzu boxer.

“I like challenges they bring the best out of me. I will hit him hard and he will never want to fight me again,” said Kudakwache who boasts of 10wins from 10 fights, six of which ended in TKOs.

In an interview from Mzuzu, Msoliza said he challenged Kudakwache after watching him fight last week in Lilongwe.

I have been working hard in the gym and also jog a lot. My punches are strong and this gives me confidence that I will beat him,” said Mtsoliza in a telephone interview from Mzuzu on Thursday. n
