MTL celebrates family day
Spouses and children of Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL) Mzuzu Branch employees were on Saturday treated to a family day at the Mzuzu Golf Club.
MTL chief commercial officer Gladson Kuyeri said the event was among the company’s initiatives aimed at building team spirit.
“We call this programme Limodzi where we bring together the MTL family to build a team [in which members] understand each other,” he said.
Kuyeri also said the company expects the event to help improve service delivery.
One of the staff members, Martha Kachingwe, who works as customer service representative, said the interaction enhanced relationships with staff spouses and helped refresh minds through sports.
Among other games, there were egg race and local chicken race where the winner went away with a local variety chicken. n
