MultiChoice in Operation Save Wati

MultiChoice has dialled up support for Wati who faces possible eviction from the Big Brother reality, saying:  “Vote and increase your chances to witness the reality show live in South Africa next month.”

Codenamed “Operation Save Wati and Win”, the promotion comes when the Malawian rep faces his toughest test since he survived the random nominations which saw his cousin Nafe packing two weeks ago.

With just nine contenders in the house of double the drama and deception, Wati on Sunday  returned to the endangered list alongside Namibia’s Lady May, Ghana’s Keita and Kenya’s Prezzo and Alex.

According to MultiChoice sales and marketing manager (south) Chimwemwe Nyirenda, the competition is even tougher because this time it is not clear how many housemates Big Brother will evict this Sunday.

“As MultiChoice Malawi, we are encouraging Malawians to save Wati more especially this week by voting for him. There is a big bonus of winning a trip to watch Big Brother final in South Africa on 5th August 2012,” said Nyirenda.

To keep Wati in the $300 000 (about K81 million) DStv series, viewers can vote by texting “Vote Wati” to TNM number 15626 or via the show’s website www.africamagic.tv/bigbrother. One can poll 100 times per telephone number, says Nyirenda.

The draw for the trip will be held on July 22.
