MultiChoice Malawi has embarked on social gatherings to drum up support for the country’s Big Brother Stargame couple—Nafe and Wati.

With about eight weeks before the reality show ends, MultiChoice sales and marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda disclosed that the free-for-all activities will start on Sunday with the screening of the show at Steers Garden in Blantyre and Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.

“These events will be beamed on big screens  to create a platform for Big Brother  fanatics to come together,  share experiences, have fun and support our housemates,” said Nyirenda.

He said the patrons will also win BBA-branded mementos and watch different artists performing live.

In Blantyre, the launch of the black-red-green show will feature Ndakusowa urban music sensation Armstrong. The following week, it will be the turn of his fellow Nde’feyo Entertainment signing Nthumwi Piksy, who starts the road to the launch of his first solo album with a pre-release gig at Gymkhana in Zomba on Sunday.

Wadya Iwe star Blackjak is due June 24.

“We are also launching a promotion this Sunday and the winner will travel to South Africa to watch the BBA Stargame final on July 29,” said Nyirenda.

As it happened last year, the lucky viewer will have VIP access to the pre-party and the show.
