Muslim youth organisation interact with universities students

Members of Muslim Youth United (MY) on Sunday interacted with university student of Catholic University of Malawi (Cuma) and Malawi University of Science and Technology aimed to sharing issued affecting Muslim students.

Speaking during the event MY founder Abdullah Panjwani said they want to spread peace and love of Islam to all kind of people without looking on their background.

“We are able to see our numbers are growing in our interactions. In weeks to come, we are planning to visit students at Chancellor College and The Polytechnic where we will encourage the youth to stand strong in this time when Islam is under threat and we don’t encourage any sort of violence but portray our religion peacefully,” he said.

Catholic University Muslim students patron Witness Mdoka the gathering will help student to learn from each other and promote Islam.

Mdoka said: “This gathering unite us regardless of ethnic group, tribe, culture or race.”

In his remarks Saad Kamwendo chairperson for Muslim students at Must the gathering has happened I the month of Ramadan where they are encourage coming together and sharing different things and finding solution on how they can solve them.
