Speaking during the signing of the partnership in Blantyre on Tuesday, MyBucks Malawi head of retail and SME banking Mayamiko Kalizang’oma said the partnership is in line with the bank’s key strategic intent.

He said: “MyBucks is focused on making people’s lives better through convenient and simplified banking using technology and partnerships.

“We are, therefore, delighted to bring about free and convenient Masm subscription payments to our customers and non-customers.”

Masm chief commercial officer Bernard Ambali said the partnership resonates with the healthy insurance service provider’s objective of providing convenience to their customers on monthly subscription payment.

“Considering the current Covid-19 situation, more innovative ways of doing business also help members to transact in the convenience of their homes or offices,” he said.

Payment of Masm subscription is even more convenient to MyBucks customers on *632# flex mobile banking platform as they will be able to transact by dialling *632# and then following subsequent prompts.

MyBucks Malawi is a full-fledged bank with 17 branches, 150 agents and 30 automated teller machines nationwide.
