Mzati builds hype for album launch

With two weeks to go before the launch of his fully packed afro jazz album This Is Malawi (TIM), Mzati formerly known as L Cee, has began free acoustic performances in orphanages and night clubs.

Mzati: I want to motivate children

Speaking in an interview on Monday after live acoustic performance to children withdrawn from streets that are housed at Chisomo Children’s Club (CCC) in Blantyre, Mzati said he wants to motivate children and promote his music among Malawians with the schedule.

“Apart from cherishing our culture, my songs motivate the underprivileged population; hence, targeting orphanages. I believe everybody was bestowed the gift of greatness that can be tasted by working hard in right paths,” he said.

The Chidyerano hit maker believed he will interact with people from all walks of life and widen his audience within the two week performance.

“Those with orphanages and night clubs within Blantyre should get in touch and I will give an epic acoustic performance of five songs from TIM for free,” said Mzati. n
