Barely weeks after Mzuzu Golf Club hosted the Nico General Insurance Golf Tournament, players are back on the same greens this Saturday to support Rotarians, according to the club’s vice-captain Chrispin Mphande.

In an interview on Wednesday, Mphande said golfers will tee off at 9am.

He said the competition is expected to attract golfers from Kasasa Club in Dwangwa and Kachere Club in Kasungu, but other Rotarians are also likely to come from Lilongwe and Blantyre to support each other.

“As partners in development, we should be expecting a tough competition because Mzuzu Rotarians and those from the South and Centre work hand in hand,” said Mphande.

Meanwhile, Kachere Golf Club player Daniel Mazoe, who won the Nico General golf last month, has advised fellow contestants to train hard if they are to deny him the title in this competition.
