Alarm bells continue to ring in the Nde’feyo Entertainment stable after gospel musician Patience Namadingo has reportedly severed ties with the record label.

However, Nde’feyo Entertainment director Khumbo Munthali dismissed the story, saying they have not released the artist.

“We have not terminated Namadingo’s contract. What I know is that we have amended the contract conditions,” said Munthali who promised to furnish us with complete details later. He had not updated us at the time of going to press.

Reports indicate that Namadingo is no longer under Nde’feyo Entertainment and is now operating on a contract agreement for events organised by the music company.

Namadingo becomes the fourth artist quit the outfit after Maskal, Armstrong and Piksy.

While confirming that he is now an independent artist, Namadingo said his case is different from that of Maskal, Piksy and Armstrong.

He explained he parted company with Nde’feyo amicably and there is no enmity between the two parties with agreement to continue helping them on some of their projects.

“I am now independent, but I agreed to work with them when they need my services and I can inform you that I will be with them this weekend as a master of ceremonies at their event,” said Namadingo.

He added that the decision to part ways came after noting that it was becoming difficult for Nde’feyo to honour its contract obligations.

“I cannot say they have failed to handle me, but it seems they have many projects and it was becoming difficult for them to concentrate on my project,” said Namadingo.

He revealed that the company has allowed him to continue with the project they started.

During his time with Nde’feyo, the artist recorded some songs for his yet-to-be released Lero album.

He says he is continuing with the project and is currently working on an additional song to be in the album before its release shortly.
