Lakeford College’s Principal, Dr Venunadhan Pillai said in an interview on Friday that the course focuses on the development of knowledge, skills and understanding in the key aspects of teaching and learning.

“It is relevant to teachers who are looking to explore and apply new ideas in their own context, integrate new approaches in their own practice, and demonstrate their professional development as reflective practitioners,” he said.

He said the course comprises three learning and assessment modules. Each module is assessed through a portfolio of evidence of practice, learning and reflection using templates set by Cambridge.

Lakeford College also offers full online undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses in areas like Project, Hotel, Finance, Marketing, Oil and Energy Management as well as  Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

These courses are examined by the Venkateshwara  Open University in India, which is accredited by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC).
