According to kickoff.com, Ng’ambi had put Dikwena on course for three points, but the Team of Choice fought back to claim a share of the spoils through Evans Rusike.

Ng’ambi fired home a right-footed shot in the 72nd minute before the hosts cancelled the lead nine minutes later.

“It felt good to score back-to-back, it increases my level of confidence. I am happy with my consistent performance,” said Ng’ambi.

However, Ng’ambi’s compatriot Robin Ngalande did not get a run for Platinum who are still fifth on the standings with 31 points from 18 games.

Meanwhile, Frank Gabadinho Mhango made an impressive debut for Lomontiville Golden Arrows in a 2-1 win over Esau Kanyenda’s Polokwane City.

Gabadinho, who is on loan from Bidvest Wits, was a constant threat to Polokwane’s defence but fluffed two good chances.

“I had been out for sometime, but all the same I was happy with my performance,” he said in an interview from South Africa yesterday.

It was the first win in five games for Arrows and SuperSport TV commentators hailed Mhango for adding rhythm to their attack.

Arrows coach Clinton Larsen justified his move to start their new signing, saying:  “Mhango hasn’t played for over a month, so we want to build his match fitness up and we thought there’s no better way than starting him to build it up.”

Following the win, Arrows are now seventh with 24 points from 18 games.

Kanyenda did not feature for Polokwane who are 13th in the 16-team league with 21 points from 19 games.

Micium Mhone also did not feature as his side Jomo Cosmos edged Free State Stars 1-0. Despite the win, Cosmos are still stuck in the relegation zone on position 14 with 17 points from 19 games.
